Is it worth Submitting Press Releases to PR directories which do not allow links?

We had several inquires for our client’s about the worthiness of sending out Press Releases to PR directories which do not allow links. You must be aware that Press Release directories accept links back to your website in different ways. Some of them would allow hyperlinks while some of them would allow just profile links. There are some press release sites which do not allow any link as well.

Here is a brief about the 3 types of press release directories, and the purpose we use them

– Those Allow hyperlinks in the press release body
For driving traffic to your website along with adding quality links count

– Those Allow url links in the PR body
Mainly for driving traffic and creating brand awareness

– Those Allow only one links in the contact/profile page or no clickable links
These press releases are the most valuable ones because they get indexed by Google news and other online news channels. Though these Press Releases will not generate considerable traffic, the word (buzz) about the PR would be wide spread, increasing the credibility of the company or the promotional campaign

Have a look on following samples:

Conclusion

The press releases would be formatted with links as per the guidelines of each directory. So to conclude, our list of Press Release directories would get you a mix of results in terms of traffic, links value, reputation and inclusion in Google news, yahoo news, bing news and other top online news channels. And the main reason not to ignore the Press Release directories that do not allow links or allow links just in the profile pages is to grab attention in Google news and other news channels.
